Hey all,
       Has anyone had any experience with these boards?  They look interesting and the reviews are good. But reviews(on a company's site) tell only one side of the story. Here, you get both sides.

A bit late reply but We?ve got a TLA VTC 24ch console. Sounds great to me & our clients are satisfied with it too. I must agree with the reviews about the sound and eq altough I have never used a Neve or such. We used to have a 1976 Helios PS2 but with VTC our sound improved a great amount.

I use and M3 Tubetracker by TLA as a front end to ProTools and have found it nothing short of completely lush. So clean and warm...

I'm just about to upgrade to the M4 and get the full VTC style eq's - 16 channels of 'em!

I got an M3: amzing sound! I use it for tracking and summing: clean and warm

My outboard pres are : the TLa , an avalon 2022, a manley Dual Pre and a pair of Neve 1073, so I m not comparing it with a peavey preamp... ok?  

buy it! I will try to post an A/B of a project summed in my tla.

when i converted it to mp3, they sound more equal, but if you focus on a particular instrument, you will hear the difference. Try hi hat for hi freqs, saxs for mids and AcBass for lows...

Yeah... more experienced with my brand new Tla M3!!! I m recording a  rock band named TRIGEMINO (YES or Emmerson kind), a reunion of the first project of Juan "Pollo" Raffo,  an amazing musician, berklee and NYU graduate who played with scott henderson and a lot of great artists.  I tested my manley pre, my avalon 2022, my Tla M3  for   Toms and snare  and I was surprised : the sound of the Tla was fater and nice coloured than the sound of the other pres. More punch!

I prefer the 2022 for kick:  the Low end is better than the others.

The manley dualpre was the winner for a hammond xb2 with a Yamaha rotary speaker. I test dynamic microphones (like micking a guitar amp) but the winners were a pair of silver 414 and a D112 for bass frecuencies. (bass is non rotary like the leslie).

smooth high freqs and very warm and present mid freqs.
