Hi ..... my question is this .. does the Yamaha M1516

sound that much better than the M916 because of the

discrete op-amps in the mic pre even though

both desks have Toshiba TA7322P monolithic op-amps in them ?

And what about the Eq difference's in these desks ..........

I'm looking at getting a desk for my home studio and both are available

i have a pm2000 and an m1516a
as far as the difference between the 1516 and 916...
as far as i gather, the 1516 is just a more flexible 916
better metering, bussing, and i don't know about the eq
though if it helps... i love the 1516
built like a tank, sounds like an angel
