Contacting David Bock, the original designer and manufacturer, may be one of the easier ways to get at that information.

i've reached out to David and James Gangwer over a week ago.  neither have replied.  being honest, it kinda blows me away that this information isn't readily available.  i'm not asking for intellectual property.  it's a pinout!

now that i have the mic in my possession again, i'll likely just open it up and the PSU and figure it out for myself.

I hope it soon will be: I trust that YOU will post the pinout RIGHT HERE, so from then on, anyone will be able to google it up!

Thanks in advance.

The Soundelux U95 has a 6 pin XLR connection between the PSU and the mic.  it is VERY IMPORTANT to note that these connectors are Switchcraft.  Neutrik 6pins are not the same, though Neutrik offers a part number that is "Switchcraft compatible".

For making an extension cable, you will need Switchcraft AF6 (female) and AM6 (male).
If you prefer Neutrik, you will need NC6MXXS (male) and NC6FXXS (female).  These ARE the switchcraft compatible versions.

Here is the pinout (wire colors are noted for what is inside the PSU, not inside the microphone):

1 - Mic - (Black)
2 - Mic + (White)
3 - Pattern - (Grey)
4 - Heater (Blue)
5 - Pattern + (Red)
6 - Ground

The pinout is a "straight through" wiring.

I assume, with "3 - Pattern - (Grey)"  you mean variable polarization voltage? Or did the minus symbol indicate some type of negative DC voltage, in difference to pin 5's positive voltage?

Also: what does  the sentence "The pinout is a 'straight through' wiring" mean?

Thanks,
KH

Pin 1 to pin1, pin2 to pin 2, etc.

straight through = pin 1 to 1, 2 to 2, and so on.

i don't know what i mean.  the pattern is fully variable on a pot.  inside the psu, the grey and red wires go to the pot, and into the 6 pin xlr up to the mic.

i'm not a tech (i know just enough to be dangerous), so i tried my best to describe what i was able to figure out.

all my parts are here, finally.  so i'll solder up the cable tomorrow morning and test it.
