Thanks for asking!

Yes, it's a discontinued model called the A-48 (circa 2002 ~ 2005).

Lately we've upgrading these with the new ultra-low-noise
capsule technology (as in CHI Hybrid Mics) with great results!

Stock it is a light and airy-toned mic.

Ted Perlman loves his, has tracked a lot
of Back-up Vocals with it. Works well on
acoustic guitars, too (in stock version).

With a GK-47 and an electronics tweak,
you could also take this mic in the
totally opposite direction (super dark!).

Like all our tube mics, we have Hot-Rod Options . . .

Interesting Mic tree, by the way!!

A stainless steel and aircraft-alloy mic stand that my 90 year-old dad made for ADK a few years ago. One-Unit w. heavy counter-weight.

Features a Steel Cup with NASA-Developed Foam that should offer theoretical damping down to single-digit Hz.  (Patent pending).
