With all respect, I find this thread to be the total opposite in positive, empathic and constructive geist that the PSW Recforums represents elsewhere to me.

Our community is going downhill with discussions such as this one, IMHO. We have something great and unique, compared to other places on the Internet. Please let us not tear it down, because it is very easy to do so.

My intent was to point out some threads that were, in fact, "the opposite of positive, empathic, and constructive geist that PSW represents."


But you well point out the conundrum facing us in these matters.

Not the best method, pointing out kids playing with gasoline and matches by using a flame thrower myself.


I was trying to burn those folks only, but I realize, it is impossible to so neatly "isolate" things in a forum.

Sure enough, it will inflame others too.

Allow me to say, that it just "burns" me when people start such threads that will quite predictably set one good group of people against another good group of people, just so they can watch the show.

It happens here, and it happens all over, more and more now.

Some of us take forums as a means of exchanging ideas/knowlege and attempting to understand what we might not have before.

But those of like mind, and myself, sometimes tire of dodging those who consider forums as a Molotov cocktail that God tossed into their lap, and thereby entitled to toss thence wherever.

You have well pointed out my own mistake in this matter.
