Born To Rock Design is pleased to announce the release of Rockster Mastering Processor software.

Rockster Mastering Processor software permits musicians to finish their demos to pro standards, easily and at low cost. Record a demo in a home studio, then use Rockster to finish it by adding live sound ambiance and analog tape warmth.

Rockster software is designed to turn home or studio digital recordings into live-sounding recordings recorded to pro analog tape. It is easy to operate even without detailed knowledge of audio technology.
For example, you can record your band with close mics or even DI'd in a small home studio, then drop the resulting stereo mix into Rockster. Rockster provides a choice of virtual concert halls, from an intimate jazz club to an arena. It also provides options for analog tape simulation, to make your digital recorder sound like a 1" analog machine. The level of drive can be selected to give your recording the desired "hotness" to stand out from the crowd, and automatically bring it evenly up to standard radio levels without pumping or other artifacts.

With Rockster your band can enjoy sonic advantages that otherwise would cost thousands for concert hall rental, bulky and expensive vintage analog recorders and tube compressors, and outside mastering services. Rockster is aimed at bands who want to prepare and upload mastered tracks to sites like MySpace.com and similar online forums without breaking the bank.

It just needed some copywriting help.

Plus, it's only $34.95...I don't know what the heck I'll do with all the extra money now that I can sell the rest of my B.S. gear!

I hope it sounds as good as it looks.

Because I have never come across this level of design in any audio software before.

perhaps "Rockster" inserts that secret code in its mp3 output, so Myspace does not recompress with 22k sample rate.. Very Happy Very Happy

as for the design, it would look even better, if they didn't clear out the "Pimp My Profile" tag..

I have no private forum because I would be arrested in the US. In your country I think I would be safe.

uh oh.. the rockster dood is now sending me spam thru my contact form on my website:
Quote:

you seem to overlook a nice business opportunity. ROCKSTER software could permit you to provide yr customers a no-frills mastering service at a price they can afford, as an alternative for those customers who simply cannot pay for the full shave and haircut and so would otherwise walk out the door. the results an expert could provide with ROCKSTER, would be better than what a beginner could do. why reject an automatic transmission, just because you are used to driving a stick? even race cars use automatics now. give it a shot.
