Currently working on an album thats soon to be tracked and need to rent some good quality converters. There isn't enough budget (and real reason right now) to purchase that much for my own studio. I'd like to track on my own and save the extra money to take them into a nice studio for final mixdowns.

Can anyone recomend a place in Austin, TX that has good prices, customer service, and selection?

Looking at renting a buffet of quality gear and any recomendations of a wide selection good pres for...

Vocal, Guitar, Violin, wide selection of African drums, and bass.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Game on.

Actually, Jack Rock is the guy to talk to in Austin.  Probably one of the 5 or 10 best collections of vintage equipment in the United States.  His studio is at:

good info (be it that i live in austin, and rock and roll rentals doesn't cut it). you'd think with all the music going on here, there'd be more obvious resources for renting decent gear
