the NYC Transfer thread
« on: November 29, 2005, 04:52:57 PM »

On the east coast, were going to do a different test:

Were going to transfer 3 brands of whiskey to our stomachs and see which one has "More Balls"

Basil Hayden
Makers Mark
Knob Creek (although its an offshoot of Basil)

Were going to repeat the test a few times.  make sure were accurate.

Makers is the choice of most southerners who actually know something about BOURBON.

Careful drinking all that Bourbon you might not notice the balls but you could end up with Whiskey Dick.

I vote Turkey, Rare Breed.. 113.5 plus proof is best. You can drink a quart, and still retain most of what you had for lunch last week.

Single malt highland 12 year without a hint of leather tack is my choice.  Glenlivet Glenfiddich Glenmourangie.

Talk about a good converter.  It converts me to a blathering idiot without the bad aftertaste and artifacts.  44.1 or 96 dollars...either one will sync my clock.

Please stop confusing Bourbon with scotch and whiskey.

This unprofessional behavior is unbecoming and not natural.

Is this going to be drank directly out of the bottle,

or will you be using shot glasses.

There is a big difference in the effect. You know the.... emotional response... and bloom......the various flavors project.

Also, where will you be drinking the test whiskey? In a car, or in a proper drinking enviorment?

You may want to avoid looking like a dumb ass, by not doing this test in a car. But that is just a suggestion.

Just some things for you to consider, as we don't need another test gone south in this forum.

1 shot, 1 slug from the bottle, one body shot off a 47 year old stripper. 80, 100, and 100 proofs. Three brands.

It's how we do things around here.

Oh yes.

i'm with Miles on this one.  The Body shot, lets get the methodology straight here- should be off a 22 year old stipper.  We dont need wrinkles or stretch marks marring the path....otherwise i would predict a palpable loss of enjoyment.

I have always liked older women, but it's been so long since I had one, things may have changed..

I defer to your more likely current expertise.

On this yearly day of unrest, I hope that the Quakers go undisturbed, they are real assholes when you piss them off.

The Amish are wimps.. no offense to any Amish who might be reading this.
