Hey, George.

I've been very interested in the fate of the GML 2032 mic pre/EQ.  I heard about the delays due to the only prototype being ripped off (man, that sucks big time).  Can you tell me what the future holds for this unit?  Release  date?

Michael,

We are obviously months late in getting production out on the 2032.  Month after month we hope that we'll see production soon.  Maybe end of May, beginning of June.

Hi George, what are going to be the differences between the 2032 and the 8304 besides the addition of the eq?

I can't speak for anyone officially, but I believe that I read somewhere that a design goal for the 2032 was to be able to offer the GML sound without compromises for $3000 US.

Sorry to be so late getting back to you.  The biggest difference is the addition of a musical instrument (hi impedance line) input, and a very good 12dB/octave high-pass filter.  also, the EQ has 4 bands instead of 5.
