Title: Cheap(est) usb audio interface for mac?
Post by: antti on February 18, 2005, 05:47:45 PM
A friend of mine needs a cheap usb audio interface (2 in/out).
She has G3 Ibook and Logic 4.xx.  Quality is not the factor here.
Just something so that she can record some ideas/sketches down.
What is the cheapest around? Thanks.

Check out m-audio or Edirol for that - both offer cost-effective USB audio devices that are, in the broadest sense of the word, usable.

While not "the cheapest", at $199, the Tascam US122 USB interface may be worth looking into.  It has 2in/2out xlr/1/4" combo jacks AND inserts...  also includes a light version of cubase.  schweet!
