Title: Studio Isolation Door
Post by: resolectric on March 31, 2006, 10:15:56 AM
I need some pics of studio doors to show the carpenter.

I've just rented a new space for my studio (same building, so we're expanding) and the masons are there breaking stone, cementing, fixing walls... you know, the first steps in adapting the space.

The carpenter is coming tomorrow to take measurements for the ceiling and isolation but i also want him to build two big doors.
To separate the control room from the entrance hall and from the main booth.
I need that type of heavy, insulated door with spring locks (is that the correct name?) with a small square double glazed window at head height.
I simply can't find any pics of one on the web and i would like to show the carpenter some pics and not only a drawing.
A picture speaks for a thousand words, right?

I've been at John Sayers Productions website as there are hundreds of "under construction" studio pics there, but no big isolation doors in detail.

Can anyone help?
A link, a picture...

I appreciate it.
There is some useful info there but, unfortunately, no pics or diagrams of isolation doors with window.
Still, there are some useful pdf's there.
Thankyou!
