Title: is this an effective design idea?
Post by: suds on January 11, 2010, 05:45:43 AM
I have a studio L7m W5m H3m, So it is quite a large room,
I am building on the front wall some bass traps Ethan's design
they are panel membrane traps - i am building them with these
measurements 8x2x4inch's - along the bottom of the wall then i am putting absorption above that, then the mid high design above them, so in effect the whole wall is an absorber and bass brap, but will still reflect some high freq. because of the panels -  My question is  - Is this the best way to go? It seems like an efficient design? does it work?
I can post some pic's later today - All help appreciated.
thanks
Jim
