I have the new version of the macbook without firewire 800 but with thunderbolt. I have an Apple thunderbolt to firewire 800 adapter and a 800 to 400 bilateral firewire cable. I am using the latest version of UC for Mac and have El Capitain as the Mac OS. I have set the system firewire id to 0
If I connect this combination to my fire studio project no issues, UC starts, displays correctly.
If I try to connect to my Studiolive mixer nothing. Thunderbolt shows a connection but I get nothing in UC.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
