Hello guys,
I am planning using my mid field monitors (jbl lsr32) mounted against the front wall of my studio, but not flush-mout. I am concerned about baffle stepup de-compensation (-6dB in the lower frequencies- shelf type) and would like to use a very minimal approach to it
I would tweak the values of this example, through measurements in the room of course.
do you think it would be valid?. monitoring signal eq is quite critical in my opinion, so some concerned advice would be top notch..
alternatively, I could also build a simple active lo shelf eq, such this :

The value you need will depend on the type of front wall you have. It could be of only 2-3dB.
I would measure first and see what is needed.
