1961 DRAWMER Vacuum Tube eq

Has anyone had luck using it for mastering tasks?

Looks cool, but what about its sound?
6db steps is a pretty large step..lol... it is a walk! (a 20 KM  marathon)

I have a friend who uses one for mixing and loves the sound of it, but complains about a high noise-floor. It's a pain to recall, and the gain range isn't suited for mastering. I'd look at something else if I were you.

Sure. I picked an Avalon 2055  to work as my second analog eq.

Have you had a chance to use the Avalon yet?

It has not arrrived yet. It will take plenty of time to arrive at my door.  Jerry Tubb has one.

I love the Ibis, so that is why I won´t mind working and picking one more unit to work with the 2055..
