Gentleman,
Can anyone answer this question. Our church presently has a ProTools HD system using the thunderbolt interface to get 2 groups of 16 channels of AES digital into a Mac. Can I bring that computer a AVB audio stream with 8-16 channels and record them plus the 32 I am getting from the thunderbolt box. I am considering a BiAmp Tesira Forte for speaker management. It would be awesome to be able to use the unused mic pre's to feed the ProTools rig. I believe that the Avid stage boxes use AVB to connect to the sound boards.
