Title: maybe someone knows about cascading 3 RME Hammerfalls, or other 24 I/O options...

I need a 24 I/O solution for my Studer 963, and have 1 Hammerfall system (PCI & Multiface). do you know if I can cascade 3 Hammerfalls? asked one at the RME support, but he isn´t sure about 3, said I should cascade 2 plus the (expensive) additional RME converterbox...
I know that there´s thew MOTU 24I/O, but I prefer the Hammerfall converters...
any other options for a reasonable (that´s the trick) price? what about Lake People?
