Title: SM69 Pinout Colors....Neumann Cable

Hi All,

Does anyone have a color chart for the wiring of an SM69 cable with genuine Neumann SM69 cable? The cable appears to have some larger conductors like tube mic cable for U67s etc.  And wish me luck, this looks like a bear of a connector to terminate.

There is no standard that Neumann or the company(ies) which supplied cables for Neumann mics consistently adhered to. But there are predominant patterns I observed:

Audio (+) = white
Audio (-) = black or brown

Ground = thick blue
Heater = thick red

B+ = Yellow
(0-120V) = green

You can choose any color you like for any function, but it seems logical to at least terminate the thicker conductors as described.
