Title: Plate (B+) voltage for Sony C37a
Post by: argibbo on June 01, 2015, 02:20:41 AM
Good afternoon gentlemen.
I have a Sony C37a with a power supply issue. Please can anyone tell me the correct plate (anode, or B+) voltage.
Many thanks
Kind regards
Andy

Did you ever find an answer to this?  I’d like to know as well.
And if the answer is the same for CP2 systems and Cp3b systems, as the actual microphone circuit is slightly different for Sony c37a’s designed for either power supply.  (R2 in the microphone is 3k ohm for the cp2 PSU vs 1k ohm for the Cp3b.)

Still hoping someone will chime in with the proper voltages for Sony c37a’s.
