Late to the party as usual, but I've just posted a review of the Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56 Firewire audio interface with two channels of Liquid modeled preamps. Now I'm not a big fan of modeling one thing with another, particularly when you already have some good gear to work with, but it can't hurt to change shades of blue with the click of a mouse.
Stand back! The review is 24 pages long, a little more detailed than your average magazine. Read it here (http://mikeriversaudio.files.wordpress.com/2011/07/focusrite-liquid-saffire-56-review.pdf) or save the PDF and take it to bed with you.
This is my first post here since the forums have been revamped, but a few of you probably remember me from the good ol' days. Check out the web page in my signature. You'll find some useful stuff. No ads, nothing to join, no money (for me either), it's just something to do.

Awesome review, thanks for posting it. I've been thinking about getting one of these to replace my 003 since I could use it with PT now, your review couldn't have come at a better time for me.

Man, there's something wrong with that designation!

I think we are all newbies here, because nothing ever gets discussed. It's really a shame.

Really sad. I guess there's nothing to see or hear around here any more.
How about this. I say Fletcher wears girls underwear and Ross's favorite mix is a remix of Sugar Sugar that he did for David Cassidy. He's sad that it was never released.
