Title: More Panning Scenarios
Post by: organica_ on April 04, 2011, 09:14:34 AM
Ross, 2-3 years ago you and i were talking briefly about hard panning one day and i remember you saying that it's not your thing, that you never look at it like that....  SO i'm wondering; could you plz share a little insight with how you do you see/hear/approach your  mixing landscape...like on the Love Is My Religion album for example?peace!!

ps-any other takes/examples on this? anyone? thx!!

Hey all......
Was this a stupid question? What I was trying to get by asking earlier was , if you're not hard panning or going L-R at 90% w/fx @ 100% , what else do you find that really truly works , that's all.... it would seem to me that somebody might have a thing os 2 to share on this topic. If it's too mundane or beneath you cats to be bothered with, that's interesting too. Thanks!!

For me mono sometimes yields goods results for going other than hard l-c-r .......... everything else seems inferior generally.

Seems to me that you directed your question at Ross, and Ross either hasn't seen it, or has been too busy to reply.
