I understand that Peak is no longer being developed. I just tried to load it on my new Mavericks machine with no luck. Anyone having success with the new OS? Is this the end of the line?

I was able to get it to work, just and to adjust the security settings to allow V6 to install.

i'm still on 10.6.8 and peak works... for now... i find it useful for the audio restore function when troubleshooting broken audio files. not sure there is another tool like it out there.

Dana—I'm also trying to run Peak on Mavericks, but with no luck. What did you do to get it to run? Thanks, Justus

I had to get a later version 6 download from the folks who are doing the license support. There's a contact on the web site.

Dana— Could you give me there website address? I can't seem to locate it (lots of other sites keep coming up instead). Thanks, Justus

Dana— My problem is that I have only Peak 5.0.1, and share this with the original owner. Therefore, I don't have the original license and can't update from the version I have. I can no longer launch the app since I always get the message that "peak is currently already running on this computer" and it must immediately quite (this happened as soon as I switched to Mavericks). And this makes it impossible for me to even update at all. What would you do in my case?

Try inquiring to Soundness and let them know the situation, I believe they got me to V6 to get me running again. V5 doesn't work with Mavericks iirc.

Thanks. I'll contact them and see what they can do.
