First off, Happy New Year!! Just found out today, that a former client of mine would like me to “mix down” their multi tracks to put on their website for sale. In the past, I’ve done this in my studio at home, I sold my (I was using a live) console and purchased a pair of Slate Media’s MTi2’s. No thanks. I need knobs and faders.
I’ve been looking to find another desk. However, my problem is this. My I/O is all BNC MADI. I started looking at consoles like Yamaha DM2000, but cannot get a definitive answer if they’ll accept BNC MADI. So then started looking at units from Mackie just to act as a DAW controller. No luck there.
Wondering if anyone had any ideas that might be able to help. I’m leaning more towards a DAW controller, but haven’t found anything.
