Title: Where to get mastering in Toronto?
Post by: canadian_producer on May 17, 2007, 08:37:40 PM
Hi,

We are an indie band. Just finshed recording. Mostly self recorded and produced. We would like to get the best possible mastering in Toronto. Can anyone here recomend and engineer/facility in Toronto? We want to attend the session.

Thanks
Nick

Another thumbs up for Joao Carvalho Mastering.

Try to work with Brett Zilahi.   Amazing ears and an overall great guy.   He used to be over at Metal Works and I've worked with him there as well.   This new room is incredible!   The pictures are one thing, being there is something else.

Good luck in your search.

I agree, Brett Zilahi does some great work. He did alot of those Sonic Unyon albums over the years, and they always came out sounding very good.

Noah Mintz (used to be in the band HHead, for those early 90's indie geeks) does some good work, too.
