Title: DMG EQuilibrium plug-in equalizer
Post by: bradsarno on December 30, 2014, 05:19:06 PM
I'm quite enjoying the demo of this DMG Equilibrium EQ. It seems to be utterly blowing away every other digital EQ I've worked with to date.

The sheer sound quality in every department is just plain impressive. The ability to have total control over phase response for each band is also quite a nice feature. It's the deepest and most tweakable & configurable EQ I've ever met.

Anyone else care to comment on it?

I love it too, had it about 18 months. It's fiddly to set up, but like you say, maximum control, amazing sound, and after you've made a couple of starting templates and turned off all the bling, is very quick and easy to use.

After a few days with DMG Equilibrium, I bought it. I don't know if any other digital EQ can touch it. I get the feeling it may even give Weiss a run for its money.

It's deep and it is still taking me some time to get familiar with the various filter types and fine tuning the phase control over each band. It's just a wonderful sounding EQ.
