Yeah, i'd read that earlier today on Yahoo news. That's terrible. I think that it stands to reason that if we're adapting to our surroundings to be more effective in surviving and creating new chemical formulas and better ways to live, that viruses do the same. With all the new ecosystems and environments that are introduced to each other and all the importing/ exporting (think: the monkey in the movie Outbreak, or that guy that found a Black Widow spider in his bunch of grapes), it's tough to ascertain where and why these viruses came from. |

It's not a virus, it's an amoeba, a single celled creature. Unfortunately for us it just happens to find human brains tasty, and likes warm water... as do we.
