Title: Where To Rent LDC Microphones
Post by: tterral on May 07, 2004, 01:19:36 PM
I need to rent something like an AT 4050 or 4033 (or similar) for live work at a small festival (folk/bluegrass - 2 LDC mics total). I have access to one AT 4050, but need another. No in town rents studio gear (Tulsa, OK). Any suggestions? I will need it for the Memorial Day Weekend.

Thanks.

why not either use some SM58s like everyone else does for live
shows, or buy some cheap LDCs. Harvey's forum has lots of threads
about good quality cheap LDCs.

I've got a couple of links to rental sites on
http://www.pfarrell.com/prc/rentals.html
but you are closer to Nashville, they have lots of
places there. But I'm not sure it will be cheaper
to rent. After all, if someone knocks the stand over,
you don't want to cry over a Neumann.
