They're an extremely talented band. I produced "First Temple" and "The Penance and The Patience". If you have any questions, let me know. And spread the word, these guys don't get enough love.

Just wonder what is relation to Russia?

The band with names:
Chris DeCinque (vocals)
Mansur Zennelli (guitar, vocals)
Michael Barrett (guitar)
Brad Kimber (bass)
Beau McKee (drums)

unfortunately in modern ignorance era it is enough to put Moscow in the band name to make ppl think it is russian.

hem ... Closure ... Moscow ... Temple,
I guess anyone NOT ignorant could suspect a tiny bit of a humourous post about general state of Music Production facilities. But nevermind, music is too much of a serious thing, you're right

A band from my hometown. I did a live mix for them at a small venue here a while ago and they played last night here at the Ding Dong Lounge,...great show in another small venue,..... really hope they do well os.

Funny how things work out.....Closure in Moscow is touring Oz at the moment and my son's band, The Turning Tide, is doing support for the Sydney show at the Mona Vale along with another band Secrets In Scale. They're fairly new to the game but looks like the're having a lot of fun.

Big fan of your work. Especially the Lower Definition stuff. The Greatest of all Lost Arts sounds amazing. It's the sound I seek in my own work, and often come up short Razz Some day.. As Seb stated, your mixes are clear and powerful. (and balanced wonderfully, imo) How much of the sound you are going for is accomplished in the tracking stage?

Just ran out and bought Closure in Moscow - First temple, after reading this thread.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks guys!

I always track things to sound the way I want them to sound in the mix. I'll set faders, eq, compression and panning how I want them to sound in the end. That way I'm constructing the sound of the record slowly, instead of scrambling to pull it all together in the last phase.
