Not common for me to get real huge ones, the biggest I think was about 75 songs from Dwight Twilley and his 60's era band named Oyster. Tapes varied from the late 60's to early 80's, took about 3 months just doing a day here and there.

Really incredible body of work, even humbling.

I'm about 1/3 of way through this. The mother of all box sets...

About 18 months, working with a perfectionist, I knew what I was getting involved with so it was cool.

Also a stem mastering job which turned into 2 EP's instead of an album, 8/9 months of work and revisions etc.

How odd, the artists with the 18 month double album has literally just mentioned he has another album ready, lol. Funny how things work.

That last Maroon 5 record took just over six months, but we started mastering only three months into the mixing and there were tons of different versions.

Been working on a multi-disc release by 'Rev Wilkins' for probably 10 years now, but that's been full of starts and stops with literally years in between spurts of work.

Not a long one, but a friend of mine had his album mastered here, was happy about the job and had the CD's made.

Then he noticed he wants the album mixed over again, and wants me to remaster it. I heard the new mixes and they did sound better. Pity about the pile of manufactured CD's, but the man has a tight vision I have a great respect for.

Probably longest in terms of time spent mastering, and time from project coming in to final approval would be a project featuring 60 tracks of 60 seconds each (60x60). As you can imagine, a hugely diverse range of music, and hence both challenging and a lot of fun!

I just finished a project that was started in early December.  Every time I sent approvals back the they'd adjust the mix and ask me to remaster.  Total perfectionists. 4 months is a long time for a 13 song CD.

In terms of raw track count, I did a grindcore/power violence CD that had 39 tracks.  Still clocked in at under an hour though :o  The longest running time was a double CDs worth of classical material.

I think I do more EPs than anything else.
