Title: QRD?
Post by: Bill_Urick on January 01, 2009, 09:28:07 AM
Happy 2009!

We are in the midst of re-doing a recording space and have settled on "composite laminated wood flooring" with OC703 overhead in a suspended grid. Bass traps are also taken care of. We were thinking of treating the walls with a combination of 703 and some sort of diffusion, rather than just 703.

Could QRD's such as this product...

http://www.decware.com/p1324.htm

be effective on opposing walls that are 12' apart?

Are there any plans available for QRD's of this type?
(I know Decware has them, but only for a 12"x12")
I was thinking of alternating OC703 2x4 or 2x6 with QRD's of the same size.
