JJ is usually good for some "WHO" trivia. |

BTW, if you haven't seen the movie, it's a must see and will give perspective to the audio only album. |

That was one really weird abstract flick ! And I like the weird ones... saw it at the theater when it came out in '75? Tina Turner was great as the Acid Queen! "Who's Next" still one of my fave LPs. JT |

When I say The Who live, I mean Townshend, Daltrey, Entwistle and Moon. No more, no fewer. The "deluxe" longer Live At Leeds record has the entire Tommy performance, and you can hear how incredible they could be... although without SEEING them you're missing 70% of the experience. |

In later years I mixed the Philly Quad concert for King Biscuit. Was kinda a religious experience for me. |

The Maximum R&B DVD has some amazing footage of the band at their apex. |

Ummm, there IS an American version of MR&B. Were you thinking about The Kids Are Alright? That came out last year on DVD. |

I believe there are legal issues with that, especially in a public forum. You can get a taste of it here (see Won't Get Fooled Again): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00000DBT4/sr=1-33/qid=1145 967976/ref=sr_1_33/103-9023657-3475810?%5Fencoding=UTF8& s=music I was never really keen on how this track on the CD was mastered, and prefer the live radio concert over the CD though. It would have been very cool if they put this out. |

The fact that it's a bootleg makes it that much worse, IMHO. It wasn't recorded legally in the first place, so the rightful owners are getting screwed from the get go. By supporting bootlegs you are a part of the problem and not a part of the solution and people wonder why the price of cd's has gone up so much. |

Back to the Tommy Demo that the link provides, who in the heck is singing on this tune "We're Not Gonna Take It"?. I can't recognize anyone. Is that Roger and/or Pete? |
