Hi,
This is a very silly question but..
I have always inserted ISRC codes with Toast and Nero at the final stage of burning a cd master.
So, if I need to add the ISRC at a single file with no final media.. will I have to burn a cd and extract this track ( now with an ISRC ) or write it with itunes for example?
What is the best way to write it down, within metadata or whatever is better?
Tom Waltz has just informed about Jaikoz Audio Tagger. Great tip but the current release supports tagging of Mp4, M4a, M4p, Mp3, Wma, Flac, OggVorbis files but no 24-bit Wavefile or BWave.
Thanks for your time.

As far as I know, we're not able to embed ISRC's directly into PCM audio files for the client. Typically, I supply the aggregators/distributors with the code separately in an email.

If I need a full CD image with all meta-data included, but not an actual physical CD master, then I use the Sonoris DDP Creator. You can also add ISRCs to a CD layout in Samplitude, and export that as a single audio file with a .cue file for the meta-data.

Thanks, folks.
In this case, the client just wants to upload the single to a few sites/radios where he may get some airplay and mechanical rights.

Typically in those cases he'll need to enter the ISRC in their submission forms, or to whoever the site/radio liaison is handling his project.

Besides the wave bounces, I will generate and provide the client a 320 Kbps MP3 with the ISRC via Jakozz.
Thanks!
