hi everyone, it's great to be here and being a moderator with my friends. After leaving Gearslutz I kinda missed not sharing ideas and answering questions.

why did I stop posting on Gearslutz? Two main reasons. Considering this has been Ross's forum, these reasons will not apply to you guys but I'd like them to be known in case newbies venture into this territory. Thing one -Defending one piece of gear over another without it being in the context of an application is a total waste of time yet it would go on for pages with posters arguing in a total vacuum. Thing two -discussing gear that you've never personally owned or used yet profess to be an expert in the matter, that's a big no no. I'm sure this will elicit a big "duh" from the veterans of this site which is a good thing.  Those are the only two issues that bug me,... well that and being told those little voices that talk to me on a regular basis are imaginary....what? Ross is not better looking than me! who said that? oh..uh nevermind.

voices in my head ?

yes there are voices in my head and they told me that to lose the opportunity to hang together in the internet living room with Michael and the crew was too god to pass up.

I totally second Michaels words of wisdom.
We are not here for gear jousting.
The which is better posts or one company against another gear raps don't last long here on Whatever Works
This a safe environment to share knowledge and experience
Good solid discourse is expected and we all agree to disagree gracefully
Or in Fletchers case
as gracefully as is humanly possible

by the way
does anyone see where spell check is in this new software ?

Not sure about version 2 but the older versions needed some add-on iirc. Easiest to turn spell check on in your browser. Firefox under Tools/Options/Advanced. Not sure about Safari.
