Brainstorm TB4 Remote Question
« on: November 05, 2005, 11:14:15 PM »

Just picked up a used one of these. (Hooray!!) The remote clicker part has a jack on the side (probably) to recharge the internal battery. I don't have the charger for it.

Anyone know if I can recharge it with one of those standard Radio Shack power adapters w/multiple settings? And anyone know the correct voltage and polarity to feed it ??

Thanks.

there's a rechargable 9 volt dc cell inside.  Just buy a 9 volt battery (and chuckle as your clients yell into the remote from the back of the room).  Quite a handy little gizmo.  My rechargable battery just croaked after 15 years of use.

have fun

Chris,

Thanks for the reply. Ya, I knew about just using a standard battery.

Since it sure sounds like you have the plug in battery recharger, does it list on it what kind of power it is feeding? Or do you have the manual that may have that info? (I got a small box full of all types of these power supplies in my repair room. Don't wanna fry the thing.)

Thanks for the tip about watching folks talk into it. Will keep an eye out ;>
