System 6000 trick
« on: September 30, 2005, 04:26:03 PM »

This may be old hat to some TC6000 owners, but if you have the software app that replaces the ICON controller you can open multiple instances of it and see the real-time metering on multiple engines at the same time - one engine per instance.

Interesting.  Thanks for passing on the info.

Let me know if you figure out how to get the file saving over ethernet to work correctly!

Look, I know it's mean.  But sometimes the end justifies the mean.

Now that's special! I didn't know that.

I've been minimizing my use of the Icon software because SADiE's direct X bandwith is so limited that any additional apps on that machine cut the bandwidth down. I rarely use direct x or any plugins except for those wonderful Algorithmix equalizers, and they are such CPU-hogs with SADiE that I have to avoid running any other apps.

Weiss EQ and Millennia NSEQ still featured and loved, btw. If I had a GML license on my TC I'm sure I'd be using it as a choice. But at 96K I just don't have enough engines anyway!
