The ADK AP1 retails for more that the Soundcraft. Based on that you could be getting the better end of the lollipop. Looking at what both units (used) could be expected to sell for, I think you're coming out ahead by about $75 to $100.
I don't know what the AP1 sounds like in use (is the name supposed to insinuate a similarity to an API?)... the blurbs I read on it say it features the ability to swap out the transformer and the op amp chip for different sonic signatures.
