Hello everybody,

I was scanning the Internet for info about SOUNDTRACS Topaz Maxi 24 which im offered to buy. Im a little confused cause there seems to be a couple of different models. One with 8 buses and one with 4 buses, One more recent called project 8 and then some cheaper models as well.
Is the Maxi model the same model you ve called Soundtracs topaz or is it another modell?
Any info would be helpful before make my decision whether to buy or not.
This place seems to be the best place so far when i comes to info about soundtracs desks.

Looks like a live mixer to me. The Topaz and the Project 8 are pretty much the same thing, as far as I know.

Im going to have it my homestudio to complement my DAW. Ive heard some good things about the sound and the eq. And on this one Im told there it has this "british eq" that Im looking for.
Is there any problems with it being a live mixer instead of live mixer?
Going to check it out tomorrow

It doesn't have as much flexibility as the Topaz, but yes, it's fine for recording.

Sounds ok. At least it seems to have 8 aux, 4 fx and 4 sub groups. Enough for me.
