Yeah it's been a long while since that MP, MTW and Sides tour of Ohio, huh?   We did a bunch of dates with that band no one had heard of yet called This Day and Age - lol.   Glad you dig the tunes - I'm still waiting for the 'obnoxious' comments.   I could make a few of them on those songs as well.   Interested in hearing some feedback - from anyone on these.

It's good to see you on the boards.   Actually, J and I enjoyed Soulfest together in New Hampshire this past weekend.   The Secret Club played the Inside Out stage and ruled.

Is it possible to get a 30-second snippet (or however long you want)  of stems in .wav format and then I can do a quick mix of your stuff and send it back?  Ideally, you'd already set the relative levels so I could run all the faders the same.  My sound card is giving me grief at the moment so I can't listen to the clips you posted (I don't really do audio stuff on a computer).  I do have an HD24 and can download .wav files and import them as tracks, so if you can get me a few stems, I can play your stuff back with and without the RNLA on the guitar stems...

i can't do stems of this work for two reasons.

1.  it was work i did for a record label that hired me to do it and i can't let the tracks out of my hands with out instruction from the label.  i'm able to post the mp3's because the record these songs appear on is released and i felt i wouldn't be causing any harm on this forum by doing so.  plus the producer posts here and was cool about it.

2.  the mixes are finished and i've long since moved on, i have my recall sheets but no time to bring it all back up.

that all sounds like a lame excuse, but i'm just being honest.

if you can't do the clip it's really no big deal.  heck, you could get me a clip of any type of band with electric guitars with and without the RLA and i'd still be able to get something out of that.

I'm recording a piano duo this week (each one playing a 9' Steinway - not exactly aggressive guitar rock but cool nonethless) but I'll try to bang something out this weekend on my own and if you're still interested then I'll post the files.  Just a warning though - I'm no drummer (which shouldn't be a big deal since you're listening for guitar anyway).

I found a few songs this weekend that just needed some loud guitars added, so I plugged in yesterday and started to record.  Suddenly, my HD24 stopped and the display read, "Buffer underflow - HD is too slow."  The last time I got this error it cost me several hundred dollars to get fixed.  Sorry - looks like my POS recorder is out of commission right now.
