how close can the '68 sound and track like mc77 or 1176?I'm sold on the 2 buss thing but haven't heard one yet.I only own a rnc and looking to upgrade?I'm looking for some versatility.and would like to know it's strengths and weaknesses.

It is built off a totally different concept for compression. I have a '69 that I love, it's a great peice, but not an 1176 type thing.

I like my '69 to track vocals, and bass. It lives on my mix buss for mixing. It makes things bigger and it just sounds like a record to me.
