weird RNC problem?

we're in the studio all week, trying to run some drum tracks through my RNC and i'm getting no signal out of it, when you hit "bypass" you get sound, when you switch off bypass you get nothing, any idea what this could be?

check your patching. the jacks are ch 1 in/out channel 2 in/out.
I had an assistant wire mine up on a session and he'd wired it ch 1/2 in, ch 1/2 out and it didn't pass signal except in bypass. I was thinking it was a balanced/unbalanced problem. At the end of the session I investigated and said "oh duh".. miswired.
