I'll jump in and counter that it's a cultural thing, bus/buss...buss, as I have been told in a few places, is a British thing.  I've always spelled it buss.  Does it make me a bad person?

However, SSL (who are English) spell it "Bus" and Waves (who are Israeli) spell it Buss.

Well rest assured that they didn't invent their own language when spelling the word "Bus" correctly in the singular form.

All I know is this...I know that when someone writes "buss," they are referring to the audio routing thing, and not the motor vehicle thing, which, I swear to God, in my dumbness, is something I could get confused by.  "Why do I want to put the guitar solo on the bus?  Where's it going?  OOHHHH...fuck.  I'm dumb."
