George discovers the miracle of getting answers @ REP
« on: June 29, 2005, 01:45:28 AM »

Ok, I asked a question 3 weeks ago if it's a good idea (in my own words: professional way) to pump the top end (I sayd the area from 12 to 14khz).

I got some answers, mostly guys who where rolling on the floor, laughing.. they said: this couldn't be professional because man can't answer this in general. I was half slaughtered...

now I take a look at the thread: What mistakes Mixing eng. makes or the "adding top end to your mixes".. they started the thread with the exact same meaning like mine but more like: I do it this way, how do you do it. My way was: Is it in general good to add.. blah..

I think the same question not?

Now a lot of responses...

do you see what I mean?

In the future I will ask also this way.. it seems easyer for most people to explain what others mistake is (keeping up the politicalcorrectness not giving the dog a name).

so long
