Duct-taping the drummer's right hand to the floor tom will also cut down on bleed from the high-hat.

speaking of t-shirts on tom-toms: I'd heard that the intro sound on Al Green's "Still In Love With You" was Al Jackson playing fabric-covered toms with mallets.

Perhaps compasspnt knows the truth about this.

You guys know that intro, right? It's the tom figure right before Al goes "I-aye-aye, I'm so-o in love with you..."
