The 14 rod grounding system alone is impressive! I only have one... 700 Amps is a lot! DC

I'd also love to see some pics of this 14 rod system.  

To hear about a setup like this in Florida sounds like.... what's the word I'm looking for?

I have my gear on a separate breaker panel than the AC and building lighting so no problems with those anymore. I have only one 8 foot grounding rod, but I talked to Scott Williams awhile back, he owns Windshear Studios and works for Duke Power in Greenville SC, he said that there was an advantage to using 2 rods over 1 and that I would have been better off installing 2 4 foot rods placing them several feet apart, rather than using one 8 foot one and sinking it deep. I'm not doubting that 14 rods would be ok, but it seems like there would be point of no return somewhere along the line, which would make more rods unnecessary. 14 just seems like overkill.

This is a sign of the times! AC power's not what it used to be! Mass-production and poor QC rule the roost...

You need excess power to compensate for the bad quality of modern current - in days of yore they had a handpicked team at the power-station inspecting every amp before it left the premises!

OK, fine. But where are the "Twist On Cables" you spoke about? I am tired of plugging in, and I was looking forward to twisting on instead!

One of the points that enabled your good gear to work under better conditions now is that you have less of the neighbours influencing the cleanliness of your current. Then you have no dimmers and computers (which put some HF back into the circuit)at the same circuit like the gear responsible for the sound. You could add one  or more hi-end-hifi AC filters and get even cleaner current.Also keep analog and digital gear separate. The better your amps, cables and speakers are, the more they can show you what they really can do then. You will hear fine differences like the ones between cables easier now.

ummm, I know of a studio in Long Island, NY that has something like 80 rods in the ground.  I have no further comment.  but things like this do exist.

The only way that I could take a pic of my grounding rod, is to take it out of the ground and it's driven down 8 feet. You'll have your hands full pulling 14 of them out, Bill.

I'm far more interested in the 700A service entrances, and how the 14 rods are inter-connected. As well as how Bill interfaces the 10kW genset.

Here's one in action on our newly remodeled mobile recording truck. Notice the autoboring heavy duty grounding rod in the bottom left of picture. Makes it a cinch to resink it at each venue.
