I'm having problems with my mixer (Alesis Studio 24).  I'm considering a Soundcraft Spirit E type...Does anyone have experience with this mixer($300 range)?  I'm not interested in the mic pres (I have external pres and go direct) as much as the EQ and using the board for monitoring and mixing.  Is this board a step up?  The price is about right for my budget?  Thanks
