CAD Equitek E-300 strange output
« on: May 31, 2005, 04:20:21 PM »

hey, all.  my E-300 is cycling a 'whooshing' sound in audio output.  I tried powering down 48V a couple of times, to no effect.

It strikes me as a 48V problem (not enough power to the mic) but the mic has the same problem with 3 different phantom power sources.  thoughts?

Needs a new pair of those NiCd internal batteries, maybe?

Sounds like the right starting place to me.  I have three E350s here and the batteries are the only things that have ever caused problems.
