i'm letting some things go....
« on: May 17, 2005, 09:36:21 AM »

i'm sure this a bit inappropriate, but i'm trying to avoid ebay.

i'm getting rid of some tracking gear i've had for a long time and just haven't used in close to a year.

it's taken me 6 months to finally lose my attachment to this stuff but hey, some one needs to be using it, cause it really is great stuff.

three items.

1.  Mercenary Audio AK-4272  - this is a seriously awesome rack of 4 neve 1272 pre-amps.  easily the sickest pres i've used in "neve" category.  i believe fred forssell designed the front end but i'm not certain.  it's 2ru with a 1ru external PSU.  the PSU actually has two PSUs built in just in case one dies you don't have to stop working, you just have to move a cable over to the other supply.  the unit is in great shape, it's given me no trouble and it sounds amazing.

2.  Evil Twin DI  - i'm not sure you can get these anymore.  ross has one i believe so if you don't believe me about how awesome they are, just ask him.

3.  Earthworks TC-30K matched pair  - you should know what these are.

all gear is in great shape, and was well cared for.

PM me if interested.

sorry for the sales pitch, but not really.

They say the heart of Rock & Roll is still beating, which is amazing if you consider all the blow it's done over the years.

"The negative aspects of this business, not only will continue to prevail, but will continue to accelerate in madness. Conditions aren't going to get better, because the economics of rock and roll are getting closer and closer to the economics of Big Business America." - Bill Graham

And it really doesn't matter if I'm wrong, I'm right.
