real-time directx effects on input?
« on: May 15, 2005, 03:46:05 PM »

greetings.  is anyone aware of PC software that will let you process (or at least audition) directx and vst effects on your input?

i want to hear my outboard chain and directx stuff interact -- i wouldn't even mind if the processing is not realtime, i just need to be able to hear it.

best,
harris

Sonar, Cubase/Nuendo, and even the last version of Logic all can do this.

Thanks.  I'd tried this on a friend's Cubase setup but hadn't figured it out.

Are you aware of any way to set this up using Samplitude or Sequoia?
