Drug refs came up in an interview about my new record as did loudness...

Anywho, I never thought "I like my shit" was a drug reference, amazingly the music critic did. Go figure, the next line is: "I like it loud, I got the box that can rock the crowd." Seems pretty straightforward and vaccous to me... I'm sure I'll be sued for deafness in teens soon... Sheesh.  There are drug references on the record but they are mostly dubbel entendre... Cheetos are just as damaging to our society; are they next to be banned by the PMRCs splinter cells?

I miss the days of morse code mixes; maybe DC can do some of that on the Reggae/Punk/Jam/Ska/metal record he'll be mastering soon.

There's always a better way to say the f word, finding that takes real skill, maybe it's a skillset the schools aren't addressing.

I'm not looking for a 'freedom of speech'/'censorship' argument, just a line drawn in the sand so I know what's acceptable to the F.C.C. and what's not.

Ahem...

ok.. sorry

Exactly. It's why we can't give a definitive answer.

Fact is, some station will play anything if it's late enough. Sure, they're risking fines, but they rarely get caught if it's late at night as someone has to file a complaint.

I think at a minimum there should be a list defining what will potentially get you fined...
