Well, then it's pointing more and more to a defective HEDD. You should try phoning Cranesong instead of emailing.
as for how to quote or not quote, then you want to precede any quotes with a "[" character, then the word "quote" (without the quotation marks), then a "]" character.
Follow any quotes with a "[" character, then "/quote", then a "]" character.
Remove this symbol "" from all of the above to make it work! Sorry for the confusion...
